CuraNexus (by Lux Cognitiva Technologies)

Tobi Oriola|CuraNexus (by Lux Cognitiva Technologies)

CuraNexus, developed by Lux Cognitiva Technologies and presented by founder and CEO Tobi Oriola, is a medication safety and care-coordination platform designed specifically for small, owner-operated home care agencies in Canada. While legacy software focuses primarily on retrospective tracking, billing, and scheduling, CuraNexus addresses the critical gap where patient safety incidents occur. By providing real-time visibility, the platform aims to prevent the medication errors and missed wellness checks that affect roughly one in ten home care patients. The platform allows caregivers to log visits on their mobile devices in under 60 seconds, instantly updating a live dashboard for agency owners and care teams. A key feature of the system is its clinically aware AI assistant, which uses ambient scribing to record caregiver-patient interactions and automatically generate standardized SOAP notes. This directly addresses administrative burnout, as documentation typically consumes up to 40% of a nurse's shift. The presenter demonstrated these features through a live demo of the provider dashboard, highlighting patient alerts, scheduling, medication administration records, and photo-based wound care tracking. CuraNexus is targeting Ontario's market of over 700 independent home care agencies with a subscription model priced at $400 per month. To support its next phase of growth, the company is raising a $750,000 pre-seed round. They are actively seeking an Ontario-based owner-operated agency to serve as a design partner for pilot testing, early-stage healthtech investors, and sector partners such as health systems, insurers, or associations to help scale the platform.

Hylos Labs

Christopher Da Silva|Hylos Labs

Christopher Da Silva presented Hylos Labs' new platform, Impulse, an agentic IDE designed for physical product engineering. Impulse bridges the gap between natural language concepts and manufacturable hardware. While traditional physical product development requires extensive CAD training or expensive engineering resources, Impulse allows users to describe what they want to build in plain English or upload reference images to generate

EducAI

Soham Gherwada|EducAI

EducAI is a localized, privacy-first AI infrastructure designed for higher education institutions. Founded by Soham Gherwada, the platform provides universities with on-campus artificial intelligence powered by advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems. By hosting the AI locally on the university's internal hardware, EducAI ensures data sovereignty, preventing proprietary coursework, student data, and institutional intelligence from being leaked or used to train external public large language models. The platform offers a suite of interactive learning tools for students and faculty. For students, EducAI provides 24/7 academic support through virtual teaching assistants grounded strictly in approved course materials, which helps prevent AI hallucinations. It automatically generates study assets such as practice tests, flashcards, lecture notes, and dynamic mind maps directly from the syllabus. For faculty, the system reduces administrative friction by automating the creation of formative assessments and study aids without risking intellectual property. During his presentation, Gherwada detailed the platform's architecture and discussed its early traction, which includes a completed summer pilot program within a marketing course at Carleton University's Sprott School of Business. The company's go-to-market strategy focuses on expanding from professor-led pilots to department-wide and institutional-scale deployments. To conclude, the presenter invited educational institutions to partner with EducAI and schedule a campus-wide demo to implement secure, autonomous educational technology.

Taskd

Ryan Hanley|Taskd

Taskd, presented by CEO Ryan Hanley, addresses the data-rich, answer-poor challenge faced by enterprises attempting to use AI on unstructured, siloed datasets. While many organizations have adopted LLMs, these models often struggle with real operational data due to a lack of underlying logic, leading to compounding errors. Taskd solves this by building a deterministic logic layer—Operational AI—underneath the AI models to harmonize data and enforce business rules. The Taskd platform operates through a five-stage pipeline. First, it uses

Simulyt

Rohit Jinka|Simulyt

Simulyt is a synthetic audience simulation engine designed to predict how a target market will respond to ideas, products, or marketing campaigns before real capital is committed. Founded by Rohit Jinka, the platform addresses the high failure rates and wasted budgets associated with traditional product launches and marketing campaigns. While standard A/B testing on
